1. Who we are and acceptance
“We”, “us” and “the shop” mean fix2fit Tailors. MyTailors is our customer portal for accounts, order tracking, appointments, loyalty credit, offers and online payments. By creating an account, buying through the app, booking work or leaving an item with us, you agree to these terms.
You must provide accurate contact details and keep your password secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
2. Quotes, prices and payment
- Online and displayed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A garment may need inspection before a final alteration quote can be confirmed.
- We will seek approval before carrying out materially different additional work or charging more than an agreed price.
- Payment is due as shown at checkout, on drop-off or on collection. Garments may be retained until the balance is paid.
- Card and PayPal payments are processed by the named payment provider. We do not store complete payment-card details.
- A receipt remains in Welta as a business transaction record even if a MyTailors account is later deleted.
3. Online offers and service purchases
- An offer is subject to its stated expiry, availability, customer limit and description.
- A service-offer purchase creates a Welta order only after the payment provider confirms a completed payment. The app will show the Welta order number and receipt when fulfilment succeeds.
- Unless an offer says otherwise, garments must still be brought to the shop. Estimated completion runs from the garment drop-off and assessment, not necessarily the online payment time.
- We may contact you if the purchased service is technically unsuitable for the garment. If we cannot provide the purchased service, we will offer an appropriate alternative or refund the affected payment.
- Digital loyalty credit is added only after verified payment. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is subject to the loyalty rules below.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Your statutory cancellation rights depend on the product and when performance begins. Made-to-measure, bespoke or clearly personalised goods may be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right. Services fully performed with your prior agreement may also be treated differently.
- Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel an online purchase.
- If work has not begun and no bespoke materials have been cut or ordered, we will assess cancellation under applicable consumer law and the offer conditions.
- Deposits for bespoke or made-to-measure work may become non-refundable after materials are ordered or cut and work starts.
- Nothing in these terms limits remedies for faulty services, misdescription or other rights provided by consumer law.
5. Due dates and collection
- Due dates are good-faith estimates rather than guarantees. Complex construction, specialist material, hidden damage, supplier delay or additional approved work can affect timing.
- Tell us before booking if the garment is needed for a fixed event. We are not responsible for avoidable indirect costs caused by a delay where the law permits.
- Please collect items within six weeks after the agreed or notified collection date. We will make reasonable contact attempts before treating an item as unclaimed.
- Where legally permitted, unclaimed items may eventually be donated, sold or disposed of to recover reasonable storage and outstanding costs. Contact us in advance if collection will be delayed.
6. Garments, alterations and repairs
- Please disclose known damage, weak fabric, stains, valuable trims, sentimental value and special care requirements at drop-off.
- Results are limited by the garment’s construction, seam allowance, fabric condition and prior work. Exact thread, leather, suede or fabric colour matching cannot always be guaranteed.
- Repairs restore function and structure but may remain visible. Natural leather and suede can vary in colour, grain and response to work.
- Carrier bags and ordinary hangers are left at your risk. Tell us if an original branded garment cover or hanger must be returned.
- Inspect items on collection and tell us promptly about any concern. We will assess genuine workmanship issues and, where appropriate, put the work right.
Workmanship
Our stitching, hems, tapering and replacement zips carry a six-month workmanship commitment. It covers failure caused by our work, not ordinary wear, misuse, accidental damage, unsuitable washing, fabric failure or work later carried out by another provider.
7. Bespoke and made-to-measure
- Measurements reflect your body at the consultation date. Later measurement changes may require chargeable work.
- Normal fitting adjustments form part of the commission; material specification changes or substantial redesign requested after work begins may cost extra.
- Personalised garments cannot normally be returned simply because you change your mind. This does not affect rights where goods are faulty or not as agreed.
8. Dry cleaning and third parties
Where cleaning or another specialist step is performed by an approved third party, we remain responsible to you as required by law. Results can be affected by hidden defects, unstable dyes, age, embellishments and inaccurate care labels. Please identify delicate or unusual features before work begins.
9. Loyalty credit
- Loyalty credit is promotional account credit, not cash or electronic money. It cannot be withdrawn, sold or transferred.
- Earning and redemption rates shown in the app or at the till apply at the transaction date. Returns, refunds, deleted or reversed payments will reverse associated credit.
- Purchased loyalty credit is added once per verified payment. Duplicate or fraudulent awards may be corrected.
- Deleting your MyTailors account permanently forfeits unused loyalty credit.
10. Notifications and app availability
You can control order updates, email notifications and offers/news in Settings. Essential transactional or security messages may still be shown in the app where permitted. We aim to keep MyTailors available and accurate, but temporary maintenance, device settings, network failures and third-party outages can delay updates. The Welta shop record is the authoritative order and payment record.
11. Account deletion and records
You can request deletion from My Account. MyTailors access, profile data, saved notification tokens and loyalty credit are removed. Welta orders and receipts must be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling and other legal obligations; those records are anonymised where possible and are not deleted through the app.
12. Liability and governing law
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not liable for remote or unforeseeable loss. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and applicable courts will have jurisdiction.
