How we use and protect your information

Last updated: 27 August 2026. The data controller is fix2fit Tailors, 78 Bridge Street, Manchester M3 2RJ. Contact info@fix2fit.co.uk or 0161 839 3474 about privacy.

Information we collect

Why we use it

Our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent for optional marketing where required. You may withdraw marketing consent in Settings at any time.

Who receives information

We use service providers only where needed, including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, hosting and notifications; PayPal for payments; email and messaging providers for communications; and professional advisers or public authorities where lawfully required. Payment providers handle payment credentials under their own privacy notices. We do not sell personal information.

Device permissions and international processing

Push-notification permission is requested only when you choose to enable alerts. Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to upload an image. You can change device permissions in Android settings, although disabling one may prevent that feature from working.

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on recognised adequacy arrangements or contractual and organisational safeguards for those transfers.

Retention

Active account information is kept while you use MyTailors. When you delete the account, the authentication account, portal profile, saved notification token, optional submissions and loyalty balance are removed. Welta transaction records, orders and receipts are retained and anonymised where possible for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims. Retention periods follow applicable UK obligations and operational need.

Security

We use authenticated access, Firestore security rules, server-side payment verification, encrypted network connections and restricted administrative access. No service can guarantee absolute security; contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised account activity.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Some records cannot be erased immediately where we have a legal obligation or overriding lawful reason to retain them.

To exercise a right, contact info@fix2fit.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.

Children, changes and contact

MyTailors is not directed to children who are unable to enter a contract independently. A parent or guardian should manage any relevant account. We may update this policy when services or legal requirements change and will publish the current date above.
